Sonic Bloom is a thing of beauty indeed. A soft blue shimmer, it also flashes yellow, green and lilac. Apparently retired, this is from OPI’s Brights collection, which I don’t really understand as there’s nothing bright or
vibrant about it.
What we have here is a layering polish. Anyone buying this expecting to obtain an opaque duochrome will be bitterly disappointed. You could take 10 coats to get this where it needs to be, but all you’ll be left with is gungy and messy nails, so don’t bother. I wound up layering this over a light blue creme shade and this was much less painful than trying to build it. I’m not entirely sure why you’d want a hint of greeny blue flash on your nude nails either – this looks far better as an
opaque polish.
This was an eBay purchase that I made a couple of years ago. The phrase “retired and hard to find” seems to put me into some kind of trance that just results in me handing over my credit card. I don’t even wear this one that often (this is possibly the first time actually). It’s a bit of a change of pace for me in that I don’t normally wear greens, let alone these girly shades.
I think this would make a lovely pedicure polish for going on holiday. Its all shimmery and pretty like the sea. You can pick this up on eBay pretty
regularly and relatively cheaply if you like it. For me, I can admire it – it’s pretty. It’s a delicate duochrome that should really be driving me wild. Yet for some reason it doesn’t. I don’t know why, it just doesn’t. What do you think?

I bought this ages ago and was so disappointed with it. Way tpp sheer I gave it away
I only have one word for this nail polish: AMAZING!
This is so pretty. Shame it’s so sheer. I love polishes like this. That is with those colors peeking through.
