Tell me, readers, are any of you non-bloggers as obsessed with nail varnish as I am? I mean, I’m guessing you have some semblance of interest or you wouldn’t be here. The reason I ask is because I want to know if there’s still a place for sheer pink polish. There has to be, right? Just because I’m not a
huge fan of it myself doesn’t mean others don’t love it (as I keep repeating to myself).
So, here we have exactly that. It’s sheer. It’s pink. Whilst I have a practiced eye for other colours or glitters and can spot the difference between stuff that lookd exactly the same (to the untrained, non-polish obsessed eye), these pink sheers are much of a muchness. I know Essie sell a million of these every year. And indeed, there’s still a massive
amount of love for OPI’s Bubblebath out there, so actually this could be quite a helpful review. Whilst sheer pink is effortlesslu dupeable, you might as well save yourself a few quid and pick this one up from Models Own for a fraction of the price.
Use it on its own for a quick and easy “groomed” look. If you’re into French manicures, this would work beautifully. There’s nothing wrong here at all. Consistency, finish and wear are textbook Models Own – ie excellent. Just don’t expect me to get over excited about it. Now, where did I leave that neon green…?

It looks pretty in the bottle and, if it looked like that on the nail after 2 coats (i.e. opaque), I wouldn’t COMPLETELY and irrevocably kick it out of bed. But sheer????? Not in a million.
I think you know how obsessed with nail polish I am! Personally, I would not wear something like this. It’s just not very “me”. I also think that if you’re wearing polish you should be able to see it, I don’t like something that just makes nails look a bit more groomed. I think this kind of shade is still very popular with people that are not polish obsessives, your casual polish wearer!
Totally obsessed with nail VARNISH (ahem) but I agree – not interested in stuff like this. My nails look perfectly nice without anything on them, so if I want them to look ‘natural… I leave them actually natural. Too obvious?
No, not for me! I tried Warwick Avenue, and as I hate visible nail line I used 3 or 4 coats and took it off after a day *yawn*!
It’s embarrassing how much I love nail polish, haha. I only keep sheer polishes around to layer glitter with, that’s about it.
I’m obsessed with nail polish (I have a helmer to prove it). I buy sheer pinks but then give them to my Mum, I can’t stand them after I try them a couple of times.
