Well, this is green, isn’t it?

I don’t naturally gravitate towards greens, as many of you know. Indeed, when I was sorting things out for my most recent blog sale, Shawn was one of the first contenders I grabbed and popped in the blog sale box. However, I wanted to give it a quick swatch before I sold it (otherwise there was no point having it in the first place) and stone me if I didn’t fall hook line and sinker for this.

I don’t know why – it’s everything I shouldn’t like in a polish. Its a flat green creme. It leans to yellow and brown tones. It’s green. It’s a creme. But…it looks bloody marvellous. Who knew? This is typically one of those things that looks crap on the hanger but brilliant on. It reminds me of the likes of Illamasqua Ranpage, which I never got round to owning unfortunately.

So, unfortunately, I deprived my blog sale of Shawn. I can’t say that I’m going to wear it all the time, or even once a year, but I like to know that I’ve got it. You never know when the mood will take you to wear a sludgey green creme on your nails but at least it’s there for when  and if it happens to me.
