Models Own Coral Reef

This review comes with a warning: not for everyone’s eyes and nails.

Upon Helen’s recommendation, I bought this bold colour from Models Own.  She was confident it would look great against my skin tone and she was right, I really like it.  It comes across as a dark peach in the photo but it’s effectively a very bright coral pink and it’s a creme finish too.

Consistency was very thin and I had to layer on three coats for sufficient opacity but if on a beauty budget, for £5 this delivers on its promise and much more.

If you aren’t afraid to be bold and bright, then Coral Reef should take pride in your collection.  It will definitely look amazing in the sunshine (if we get any more of it) and especially perfect on the toes.

Looks neon and I’m sure your hands aren’t dirty IRL but the pic can’t be picking up the colours accurately as you seem to be suggesting.
I feel that I OUGHT to like this brand as it’s British and I’d like to support a British manufacturer (how I hope they don’t outsource production to China!) but I just don’t. My loss….

I love coral polishes. You should check out I’m His Coral-friend by OPI, it’s stunning.

I *love* this. I love bright-arse oranges, one of my favourites is Nubar Neon Orange.

Will definitely have to check this one out.

The coral does look lovely with your skin tone. Very pretty shade. I think there’s a coral for everyone. I tend to like the warmer shades.
