This nail varnish makes me very happy indeed. Not only is it just glorious, it is also a rare thing. A purple polish that actually photographs well. And for that reason alone, it deserves legendary status! Way too much of my spare 
time is spent leaning out of windows or into patches of light, trying (often in vain) to get a decent photo of a nail varnish. I tell you, it’s a hard life!
So. This polish is so good that it practically applied itself. Part of a set I got at Christmas last year, I ended up buying a backup pretty fast. The glitter eyeshadows and mascaras that also came as part of the set went along the wayside a long time ago, as the polish was the definite star of the show.
I keep telling you, and meaning it, that Boots No 17 polishes are underrated and often overlooked. I know the packaging isn’t all that, and they are mainly aimed at teenagers, but once in a while, a real classy classic comes along.
A rich, mid-purple creme, this looks a lot more expensive than it was. And although it won’t last for more than a few days on the nail, it does have better staying power than other, more expensive polishes I have tried.
