Are we feeling summery yet? Hopefully this will get you in the mood!
This little gem is from none other than Boots No 17. I’ve said it before and I will say it again – this is a much under-rated brand in terms of nail polish. I know that the stand and bottles and general clientele hanging about the stand
(tweenage girls giggling and making a mess of the samples) might not be all that appealing to older ladies, but I urge you to take a closer look the next time you are in the vicinity.
This may not be the most sophisticated polish in my collection, but I don’t care. Look at it! It glows. So beautiful. Application was absolutely fine as well – for a little bottle, these 17 polishes apply remarkably well (please disregard the fact that I also appear to have painted my fingers).
I’m already imagining how this is going to look on summer toes, and can’t wait for flip-flop season to hurry up and arrive!

Weird. I really like it in the first photo but don’t like at all it in the second.
It is an underrated brand. Very true. I have a few.
It’s lovely, a fantastic holiday colour. I don’t own any 17 polishes so I think I’ll have to change that!

I love a lot of 17′s colours but they wear so badly. I often can’t make a day without chips, even underneath seche.
@Vic I have the same problem, but some of the newer shades seem to be better on that score. Having said that, Barry M and 2True are about the same price and have much better wear, so I’m trying to stay away from the Boots varnishes!
