Claire’s Fuschia Pink
Ahhhhh holidays. Have any of you got anything exciting booked? I am firmly in the grip of a post-holiday depression as my honeymoon now seems a really long time ago and seeing as I usually take my “summer” holidays in September, not having any time off until Christmas is a mighty depressing concept!
This little bottle of polish came to my rescue a few years ago. I was all primped and preened and ready for my holiday until I had a nasty suitcase / toe / shuttle bus experience that resulted in me chipping an entire corner off my freshly manicured big toe.
The thought of spending the next seven days staring down at a whopper of a polish chip was anathema to me, so I proceeded to trek around the whole of Bristol airport looking for an appropriate colour match to the polish I was wearing (OPI’s Flashbulb Fuschia)which I had stupidly forgotten to pack in my luggage. A schoolboy error that I’ll never be making again.
Imagine my relief and delight when I stumbled upon this little gem in Claire’s Accessories. Not only did it cost me about £1.50, it was also a perfect match to perform an emergency resussitation of my pedicure, and happy holidays were had all round.
What you see here is three coats. It’s kind of runny and does take a little while to dry so there’s no denying that this is a cheap recipe.
However, on the nail, this is a very pretty hot pink with tons of shimmer. This isn’t glitter by any streth of the imagination, so it comes off easily, but looks really pretty and is certainly one I’d be looking to again the next time I want beach-ready toes.
So, are you booked up for any holidays? Where are you going?
And more importantly, what are you going to wear on your toes?
