Clinique & Breast Cancer Awareness
2012

Hello, ladies! I’d like to draw your attention to a matter very close to all of our hearts. Quite literally. The lovely folk at Clinique are gearing up for Breast Cancer Awareness next month with a limited edition Pink With A Purpose Chubby Stick Moisturisng Lip Colour Balm.
Plumped Up Pink will be available during October from Clinique counters at Selfridges and Boots nationwide priced at £16, and £2 from each Chubby Stick sold will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (£1 from Clinique and £1 from Boots/Selfridges) to aid research in preventing and hopefully finding a cure.
It’s a cause that has most likely touched all of us in some way or another. I personally know 4 strong women who have been affected by this horrible disease and I’m sure countless numbers would say the same. Clinique’s Chubby Stick is their number one selling lip product and this colour is a one-off so if you’re passing a Clinique counter, don’t forget to pick one up and show your support to a worthy cause.
Oh and check your breasts too, ladies.

I very much appreciate such initiative and I think it’s our duty to take part in these fundraising projects if our resources are sufficient. What immediately came to my mind is an event called the Weekend to End Women’s Cancers taking place this weekend in my native Toronto and I think it’s a great opportunity for all Torontonians to show our support to those who really need it.
