Janjira is a name new to me, and the likelihood it’s the same for many. It’s a spa range born in Thailand built around the bathing rituals of ancient Thai royalty. Focussing on inner beauty as well as outer beauty, the products are designed to invigorate the senses spiritually and pamper the body as well. Sounds lush and makes me want to jump on a plane to Phuket with a stopover in Bangkok.
Janjira’s products are free from sulphates, parabens and not tested on animals, and looking at the vast range on offer, everything is so tempting.
My first experience with Janjira is with their Pomegranate and Acai Facial Cleanser*. Straight up I like the colour and design of the packaging. The colour is very regal and the flat and squeezable tube makes it travel friendly.
The cleanser itself is a thick and clear gel, delicately fragranced and non-abrasive, containing a blend of natural anti-ageing ingredients including Vitamin E, Mangosteen Extract and Turmeric Extract, to improve skin tone, elasticity and keep it moisturised.
It’s a lovely product, gentle on the skin and leaves it feeling supple and looking bright. I use it for a second cleanse to get rid of any remnants if I’ve been wearing make-up, otherwise I have also used it as a single cleanse when I’ve been bare-faced.
Janjira’s products are available directly from their website, and the Pomegranate & Acai Facial Cleanser is £16.
