L’Occitane Sublime Beauty Cream

posted by on Foundation, L'Occitane, Make-Up

OK I am dreadfully late with this post, which has been sitting in my draft folder since May! I know it’s a hazard of a beauty blogger to have a backlog of products to review but I genuinely feel bad for neglecting this one because it is honestly a sublimely wonderful product.

This is L’Occitane’s effort for a BB cream – a moisturiser and foundation in one. Until now I had concluded BB creams are out there to make me look washed out and grey because the funny thing is, I don’t have the same skin pigments as the population of the Far East where BB creams are all the rage.

L’Occitane has struck gold for me because this formula WORKS. It blends in with my skin tone and gives me a lovely, flawless finish with impressive coverage. Admittedly I was dubious when I was matched with the ‘medium’ shade (there are only two shades available – light and medium) and incredibly it’s spot-on.

And I’ll tell you something else. On my recent holiday I packed my favourite foundation but I wore L’Occitane’s Sublime Beauty Cream every day for a week instead with no touch-ups through the day. I was in 30 degree+ heat as well! It was just so convenient plus it has a SPF of 30 so an extra barrier and bonus. As it’s L’Occitane, it’s no surprise that it also smells divine!

A tube of this (at 40ml) comes to £25. For more information, visit L’Occitane’s website.
