Oh L’Occitane, you know how to brighten up a dull day. I can’t stop starting at these colourful tins you’ve bestowed upon me – a new collection of shea butter body creams to shield my skin from the bitter, cold weather currently sweeping the country while also reminding me spring is only a few weeks away.
L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Hand Cream has enveloped my hands during winter. So much so that I squeezed every last bit from the giant limited edition tube that was released last year so when I saw these body creams also contained shea butter (10% mixed combined with enticing scents), I knew I would get the same treatment all over.
There are three to tempt you with: Vanilla Bouquet, Rose Heart and Zesty Lime (the one I made a beeline for immediately). Depending on your mood, one (if not all) will take your fancy. It’s easy to guess what kind of feeling they give off: Vanilla Bouquet is deliciously warm, Lime Zesty is bright, tangy and refreshing and Rose Heart is tender and sensual.
The creams are soft like whipped cream and absorb into the skin without any greasy residue, exactly like every cream product from L’Occitane. I like to use the vanilla one if I’m having a shower in the evenings whereas the Zesty Lime is something I reserve for the morning as its fresh scent awakens the senses.
The colourful tins alone are too pretty to resist as well and are easy to slip into your travel bag. L’Occitane’s new Shea Butter Ultra Soft Creams are priced at £18 for 100ml and are available from today. Which one will you go for?
