Nails Inc Gel Effect: new for spring/summer 2014
Happy new year, folks! Hope you had a lovely break over the festive period and are full of the joys of spring. Speaking of spring, here is a peek at a couple of new shades from Nails Inc’s Gel Effect range to get you in the mood because the fact is, the next two months are deeply dull and miserable weather-wise.
Here is Downtown, a delicious bright pink that is perfect to show off in sunshine. I really can’t wait to wear this next season – such a feel-good colour. I managed to capture this in the daylight:
Soho Place, however, was frustratingly difficult to photograph in natural light, appearing as a pale pastel when it’s actually a green based aqua. Flash kills the true colour even more but I managed to get something on the phone’s camera:
There are five bright shades in total. Mercer Street (blue), Downtown (pink) and Mayfair Lane (dusky pale pink) launch this month followed by Soho Place (aqua) and Kensington Passage (coral) in March.
I am liking the gel effect polishes from Nails Inc. They’re vibrant, glossy, flawless to apply without streaking and provide a quick and cost effective alternative to the real deal. No need to soak off in acetone either, this stuff comes off easily with regular nail polish remover.
The Nails Inc Gel Effect Polishes are priced at £14 each.
