The rumours were true, the reality has surpassed expectations. Urban Decay’s much anticipated Naked 3 palette is almost within the clutches of make-up junkies and last night I got to see it, touch it, try it and take it home.
I’m sure many of you have already scoured the other beauty blogs for everything and anything about Naked 3. In short it is full of rose-hued shades, it’s in a gorgeous rose gold coloured tin case with a rippled effect and it’s available to buy online and in store on Monday 16th December. It completes #theperfect3some in the series of Naked palettes from Urban Decay. That’s all you need to know, right?
Naked3 comes with 12 brand new shades, it’s the first time Urban Decay has created a palette with a dozen never-before-seen shades that aren’t available anywhere else. It has mattes, pearls and metallics and of course they are deliciously smooth, rich in colour and heavenly to blend. And they will suit all skin tones.
The shades I made a bee-line for were the darker ones: Blackheart (smoky black matte with rosy red micro-sparkle), Darkside (deep taupe-mauve satin), Mugshot (metallic taupe shimmer with slight pink shift) and Factory (pinky-brown satin). Hnnnghhh! Seriously sexy colours. Unlike the previous palettes, I can certainly see myself using all the shades from Naked3. I wonder if Urban Decay have finally cracked the code with this one.
It feels like my birthday has come a few weeks early. I’m more excited over Naked3 than its predecessors and I love those (and Naked Basics).
Are you going to get Naked for the third time?
