This little set is a shower gel quiad that I picked up as part of my weekly Asda online shop. However, you nearly didn’t get to read this post. Sometimes Asda substitute stuff, sometimes things are out of stock. When I didn’t see this as we were unpacking the shopping, I just presumed it had been out of stock and thought no more about it, until I went to the fridge several hours later, and spied this set nestling between the wine and the eggs. Despite it saying quite clearly on the bottles that these products are not to be consumed, my husband took one look and presumed they were fruit smoothies and just popped them in the fridge. Bless him.

So, don’t drink them. But do wash with them. What we have here is 4 x 100ml sized bottles from N-Spa. When I was ordering these, I had no idea what N-Spa was. But the back of the bottles inform me that these products are the brainchild of the Nirvana Spa in Wokingham, Berkshire. Which was interesting to me as the Nirvana Spa is not a million miles away from where I work – indeed, my MD is a member, and disappears off there most lunchtimes. I’ve never been myself but I do keep meaning to.

I bought the mini-set (£6.00) as I couldn’t decide between the full sized versions that Asda also offer. They all sound so delicious – Blueberry Cream Pie, Coconut Ice Cream, Raspberry Milkshake and Vanilla Creme Brulee. And they smell divine as well. My favourite is the Vanilla Creme Brulee but they are all delicious and I am more than happy to use any one of these in the morning. OK, so they are synthetic, highly perfumed and contain a fair few ingredients that I’d normally class as “nasties” but once in a while I figure my skin can take it.

These are ideal for holidays or for someone who gets bored of using the same product every day. The claim is that they can be used as a bubble bath (which I haven’t tested, I’m not much of a one for baths) or a shower wash. And I guarantee that they will make your bathroom smell gorgeous after you’ve showered. So what are you waiting for?
