Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara

A while ago, we were sent this mascara from Revlon. Both Sheenie and I are OK with the current state of our eyelashes, plus I am practically married to one particular mascara.
However, my friend Becky has been researching eyelash growth and volumising products for quite some time, so she happily stepped in and offered to give this a full trial.
Revlon’s Grow Luscious promises a ” lash enhancing formula that complements the natural growth cycle of your lashes, improving their overall appearance and conditioning with each use. Get lashes that look instantly longer and lusher and will also grow stronger day after day with the oversized lash-extending brush. -Opthalmologist tested”.
So, without further ado, over to our guest reviewer…
I have always wanted thicker eyelashes as mine, whilst being quite long, are really sparse. As a result I never go out without mascara on.
I started using Revlon’s Grow Luscious about a week ago to see if it will help thicken them and make them stronger as well as longer.

With no mascara on
The first thing I noticed when I opened it was that the wand is really fat and chunky.
This initially put me off as this is the last sort of brush I would usually use on my lashes as bigger wands tends to just clump all the mascara on to about 3 lashes or stick the few I have together and make it look like one single lash!
However, I was pleasantly surprised. Despite the size of the wand, it actually goes on really well and if you apply it carefully you can build up a few layers of mascara without clumping.
Once it is on, it does seem to give the impression that your lashes are fuller than they are and certainly emphasises the length, so is a good general mascara in that sense.
What I will be looking for over the next few weeks is any visible signs that this product has helped my natural lashes to actually get stronger, break or drop out less and to become noticeably fuller or longer when I am not wearing mascara.
So, check back in a month to see the verdict of Becky’s trial of this mascara!

I really, really love this mascara. It works amazingly well for me, it might even replace Lash Blast as my new ‘holy grail’!
I was wondering if these mascaras worked. I’ll be interested in your progress with it.
