The Body Shop is like a magician – always pulling something out of its sleeve to wow us. The Camomile collection that dropped last year has quickly cemented its place in the hearts and minds of Body Shop lovers. For me it is a pretty outstanding set and very affordable.
My favourite is the cleansing butter, housed in a slim circular tin. I adore how melts from the warmth of your hand. Along with its texture, it reminds me very much of coconut oil from Indian shops that have solidified from the cold weather.
A small scoop is more than adequate and after I’ve massaged it into my skin with a bit of water, I will wipe it off with a damp hot flannel and not rinse it off as it instructs. Maybe I am thinking about my chemistry classes too much but I am not convinced the element of oil (or what feels like an oily wax) is going to be easy to take off from splashing water on the face.
I’m probably not even a quarter of the way through my sample but I’ve already bought a replacement before that runs out.
I’m also going to take this with me when I go away later this month. The packaging is lightweight and I’ve got no fears about it leaking or dripping in transit.
The Body Shop’s Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter is £12 and is suitable for all skin types.
