Helen likes make-up, shoes, nail polish and all nice things that make people happy and look nice and sparkly.  She also has killer talons. Which might explain the nail varnish obsession.

Helen rarely wears the same shade of nail varnish two days in a row, and would like to use this space to apologise for any lemmings created as a result of this site.

Sheenie puts Kurt Geiger on a pedestal and craves volunteers to sample her cupcakes, cheesecakes and cookies.  What Helen has in nail polishes, Sheenie makes up for with eye shadows.

She’s also a spa queen, indulging in body scrubs and massages and a sucker for pain with hot wax and a laser gun.  Never has the phrase ‘no pain, no gain’ ever been more true.

When off blogging duty, Sheenie moonlights as a freelance journalist, and as a photographer and make-up artist.  Sheenie recently started writing for a restaurant blog called Around the World in London Restaurants – reviews on eateries in and around London.

Together, these two ladies aim to share their personal experiences and to encourage you to take advantage of the simplest things in life that make you feel….well, just nice.
