It’s Monday morning. Again. How did it come round so quickly? If like me, you’re looking for a caffeine hit to get you through the day, name your vice. I usually go for a latte with a shot of hazelnut or caramel syrup, however recently I started drinking tea. English breakfast tea. I know, right? I hadn’t touched the stuff since a one-off occasion during my childhood and this is despite being brought up in a home where tea was and still remains a need.
Actually what trigged off the taste for it was when I went to a local cafe for breakfast and the waitress accidentally bought me a pot of breakfast tea when I had asked for a latte. I know, right? How can one mistake ‘latte’ with ‘tea’? Three cups later…
I’m still taking baby steps in understanding what makes a good cuppa but I already know taste and quality is important. To help me, Ahmad Tea got in touch and kindly sent me their English Breakfast Tea to try.
Now I’m not very familiar with Ahmad Tea but exploring their website leads me to learn it’s British tea company based in London which produces a huge variety of teas including herbal, fruit, black and green. Ahmad Tea also distributes to over 70 countries to selected hotels, restaurants and some chains. What’s more, it’s affordable and the brand is the only British tea company to produce tea caddy gifts such as these:
Aren’t they beautiful? These are part of range of loose teas, packed in collectable embossed caddies and retail for £7.
There are seven varieties to choose from which can be ordered online as well as the rest of Ahmad Tea’s extensive collection. However, I am giving away one tin of Earl Grey and one tin of English Breakfast so if you’d like to be in with a chance of winning both, just enter your details through the Rafflecopter widget below. It’s a Twitter give-away so make sure you’re on there!
