As you may know, Sheenie and I paid a visit to IMATS last weekend. We have a full post on our antics and thoughts that will be published tomorrow morning, but in the meantime, I wanted to show you a little find that you 
might be interested in.
I’ve never actually tried anything from NYX before, but I’ve heard tell that their creazm blushers and liquid liners are among the best around. So when I saw that they had a massive stand at IMATS, I got rather excited. Sadly, there wasn’t much in the way of blushers or liners, but they did have a massive polish rack.
Charcoal Pearl is a not-very-subtly named Chanel looky-likey. I wasn’t even thinking about this when I bought it, it was more “that’s nice” and just added it to my basket.
It was only the next day when I was playing around with my purchases that I realised that it bore something of a striking resemblance to photos I have seen of Chanel’s latest release.
A blackened grey metallic, Charcoal Pearl has also managed to capture the greenish shimmer that has got people excited about Black Pearl. I did my best to show this in my photos, but Im not sure it is that much in evidence here. Trust me though, it’s there.
I still don’t have Black Pearl to do a side by side comparison (and to be honest, I have no intention of getting it either) but to me, this looks very, very close indeed. Here’s a photo of the Chanel that I have borrowed from my friend Beauty Judy.
And it only cost me a fiver… it’s a no brainer really.
